R.I.S.E. Response Team
Resilience • Intervention • Support • Engagement
The R.I.S.E. Unit is the Duncanville Police Department’s dedicated outreach team focused on mental health, victim advocacy, and community engagement. Built on the foundation of compassion and connection, the unit offers personalized support to individuals experiencing mental health crises, victims of violent crime, and members of the unhoused population in our city.
Our Mission
The R.I.S.E. Response Team was created to improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals through proactive engagement, crisis response, and sustained care. By placing service and empathy at the center of public safety, R.I.S.E. helps build a healthier, safer, and more inclusive community.
