The spraying is being conducted in response to the detection of West Nile Virus in a mosquito trap located in the 75137 zip code. The area being sprayed is north of E. Wintergreen Rd., south of E. Wheatland Rd., east of E. Hwy. 67, west of the east city limits.

This will give more time to study the needs of the Duncanville Police Station. At the same meeting, the Council asked for a “facilities assessment,” which is a study that looks at a building’s condition, how it is used now, and what will be needed in the future.

Drivers can expect delays in the corridor and should be alert to slower traffic. The overall project is expected to complete in early 2025, weather permitting.
