The City of Duncanville proudly celebrates and recognizes the many contributions of the diverse Hispanic Community that have helped shape America. On this day of family-friendly fun, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, participants will get to enjoy live Tejano music, mariachis, Folklorico dancers, a lowrider car show, a Selena look-a-like contest, a jalapeno eating contest, bounce houses, plus Mexican, Cuban, and Puerto Rican food that represent the Latin culture.

Duncanville, TX - The City of Duncanville, at the recommendation and in cooperation with Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS), will be conducting ground spraying against mosquitoes on Thursday, August 24 and Friday, August 25, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM, weather permitting. The spraying is being conducted in response to the detection of West Nile Virus in a mosquito trap located in the 75137 zip code. If the weather prohibits spraying on Thursday night, spraying will be conducted on Friday and Saturday nights. Spraying will be performed in the targeted area within the City of Duncanville (see the attached map). Residents living within the spray zone are encouraged to remain indoors and bring their pets inside during spraying.

The 2023 City Election will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The slate of offices includes Councilmembers to represent At-Large, District 1, District 3, and District 5. All registered voters in the City of Duncanville will have the opportunity to vote for the At-Large position. Registered voters residing in Districts 1, 3, and 5 will also have an opportunity to vote for their respective candidates.

She joins a diverse group of influential professionals from throughout North Texas who serve on the board, each of whom bring experience in business, industry, non-profits, and government.

For a fourth rematch in five years, the Panthers faced the same opponent for the state championship title in 2022, 2021, 2019, and 2018.
