On April 12, 2026, at approximately 12:03 a.m., Duncanville Police officers were dispatched to Red Bird Lanes, located at 1114 S. Main Street, in reference to a reported shooting.

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the request of Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), a statewide test of emergency alerting systems will occur between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM. As part of this drill, local jurisdictions across Texas may test systems used to notify the public during emergencies. Because jurisdictions across the region may participate in this test, you may receive more than one test alert on your phone and hear outdoor warning sirens during the testing window.
