Notice is hereby given that the Duncanville Police Department intends to use federal equitable sharing funds and local available funds to purchase an armor vehicle which will be used exclusively for disaster-related emergencies; active shooter scenarios; hostage or other search and rescue operations; or anti-terrorism preparedness, protection, prevention, response, recovery, or relief.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY $1,589,682 OR 7.32%, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $128,488 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
