Thank you for your interest in donating books to the Duncanville Public Library!!

Most items will be included in the Friends of the Duncanville Public Library book sale. We sell books in the library lobby throughout the year and in an annual book sale held in early September. The proceeds support programs in our library.

Please donate books in good condition:

  • Clean--no mold, no insects, no dust, no smoky smell. Books stored in the garage are not eligible for donation.
  • Completely intact--not broken, torn, or missing pages.
  • Unmarked--few or no markings on the pages. Please remove owner names.
  • We do not accept music CDs, vinyl records, or VHS tapes.

But most of all, PLEASE DONATE BOOKS and ensure your books enjoy a second life on someone else's bookshelf. We appreciate you taking the time to donate your books. Your generosity makes all that the Friends do possible.
