Volunteers Welcome

Please note: The library does not accept court-ordered volunteers at this time.

Track Volunteer Hours  - This will take you to the website Track It Forward. We use this to log all volunteer hours and activities. 

TEENS

Potential volunteers who are age 17 or younger (or 18 years old but are still in high school): 

  • No court-ordered volunteer opportunities
  • Teen volunteers must be at least 14 years old
    • Eligibility begins the summer before entering 9th grade
    • Teen volunteers can be up to 18 years old if still in high school
  • Apply online via Track it Forward

ADULTS

Potential volunteers who are age 18 or over:

  • No court-ordered volunteer opportunities
  • Background check is required
  • Approved volunteers use Track it Forward to log volunteer hours
  • Current openings available for the Friends Book Sale
    • Weekly hours to help process incoming materials
    • Knowledge of topic areas (especially children's books or general fiction) a plus
    • Training sessions provided
