This equipment provides basketball players with an opportunity to improve their shooting skills through individual workouts while tracking shots made and repetitions.

It has quickly become a popular feature among day-pass users and is also being incorporated into the DC Sports Basketball Program on Monday and Thursday evenings, providing Coach Julie with another tool to enhance player development.
Facility Highlight – Live Sports Viewing
To complement the Recreation Center's sports-focused atmosphere, staff regularly broadcast major sporting events throughout the facility, including the NBA Finals, FIFA World Cup, MLB games, and other sporting events when available.

Visitors often gather to watch quick segments of the games together, celebrate exciting moments, and engage in friendly conversations. This small detail fosters a stronger sense of community within the Recreation Center.
