DUNCANVILLE, TX – Duncanville Independent School District is excited to host its 2nd Annual Champions’ Choice School Shopping Event on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Duncanville High School.
Champions’ Choice is a one-of-a-kind, once-per-year event designed to give families the opportunity to explore the wide range of innovative academic programs and campus options available across Duncanville ISD. The event brings together district leaders, campus principals, teachers, students, and families in an engaging, interactive environment that highlights what makes Duncanville ISD a destination district for excellence.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Connect directly with campus principals and staff
- Hear firsthand from current students about their experiences
- Explore specialized programs and academic offerings
- Learn about our new Smith Early Learning Academy and CTE addition
- Receive guidance on the school choice and enrollment process
- Enjoy live student performances and showcases
- Experience family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks, and more
“This event is all about empowering families with the information they need to make the best educational choices for their children,” said Winston Minix, Director of Career and Technical Education. “Champions’ Choice reflects our commitment to engaging, equipping, and empowering every scholar to reach their full potential.”
