MGO Connect - Report a Concern

How to Use MyGovernmentOnline (MGO Connect) for Reporting Concerns in Duncanville

The City of Duncanville is now using MGO Connect (MyGovernmentOnline) to make it easier for residents to report code enforcement and other concerns. MGO Connect allows you to submit issues online or through the mobile app and track their progress.

Go to mgoconnect.org/cp?JID=541 or download the MGO Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Select New Account. (Review Notice and Click Continue)
  2. Enter your name, email address, phone number, and create a password.
  3. Verify your phone number to activate your account.
    1. New accounts require phone verification. Please have direct access to the phone number you enter.
      If you are using a phone number, you do not normally have access to, you will need to answer the phone yourself or alert the person answering the phone of the incoming call.
    2. Please listen to the automated message carefully and follow the instructions given to you.
      MyPermitNow will make two attempts to call the number you enter.
    3. If you miss both calls or are unable to verify your number, contact the MGO offices. Call 1-866-95-PERMIT (1-866-957-3764). We will verify your account and activate it manually.

(Note: You must have an account to receive updates, but anonymous submissions are also available if you prefer not to register.)

Step 2: Submit a Service Request

  1. Log in to the website or app.
  2. Select Submit a Request.
  3. Choose a category (e.g. Code Enforcement) from the list of request types.
  4. Select the Request Type
  5. Fill in the required information:
    1. Location of the issue (address or map pin)
    2. Contact information
    3. Description of the concern (e.g., high weeds, junk vehicles, property maintenance)
    4. Upload photos or files if available
  6. Submit.

Step 3: Track Your Request

  • Log in to your MGO Connect account anytime to view the status of your request.
  • Updates from staff will appear in your account.
  • If additional information is needed, staff will contact you directly.

Step 4: Stay Informed

  • Download the MGO Connect mobile app to manage requests on the go.
  • Enable notifications to receive updates as your request is reviewed and completed.
    Tip for Residents: Anonymous submissions are accepted, but if you want to track the progress or receive follow-up, you’ll need an MGO account.
