On August 16, 2022, the Duncanville City Council approved Ordinance 2230R, increasing the water and wastewater rates effective October 1, 2022. The charts below reflect the new water and wastewater rates for both residential and commercial customers.

Why the increase? A general increase in water and wastewater treatment costs from Dallas Water Utilities and the Trinity River Authority; the cost to provide water and wastewater services exceed revenues; aging infrastructure in need of critical repairs.
The City of Duncanville will begin offering discounts for residents 65 and older, with proof of age, beginning October 1, 2022.
