This notice concerns the 2024 property tax rates for City of Duncanville. This notice provides information abouttwo tax rates used in adopting the current tax year's tax rate. The no-new-revenue tax rate would Impose the sameamount of taxes as last year if you compare properties taxed in both years. In most cases, the voter-approval taxrate is the highest tax rate a taxing unit can adopt without holding an election. In each case, these rates arecalculated by dividing the total amount of taxes by the current taxable value with adjustments as required by statelaw. The rates are given per $100 of property value.

New Transportation Options Launching in Duncanville

STAR Transit, a regional public transit agency, has announced the official rollout of public transportation in Duncanville. Effective July 17, residents can hail rides within Duncanville and connect to other regional transportation networks. This expansion is made possible through partnerships with the City of Duncanville, the Duncanville Community and Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), and the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG).
