The Better Block Foundation, a Dallas-based international urban design nonprofit, is partnering with the City of Duncanville on a temporary corridor demonstration project focused on creating safer streets, stronger connections, and more vibrant public spaces along the South Main Street corridor.

The City of Duncanville congratulates Police Chief Matthew Stogner on his acceptance of the role of Chief of Police for the Cedar Hill Police Department. Chief Stogner has served the Duncanville community for decades and was formally named Duncanville’s Chief of Police in 2024 after previously serving as Interim Chief. His final day with the Duncanville Police Department will be July 31, 2026.

City of Duncanville Launches Smart Water Meter Project

The City of Duncanville will begin a water meter replacement project to install residential and commercial water meters with an automatic (smart) meter reading system. Water meters are used to measure the amount of water delivered to our customers. Replacing old water meters with new smart meters will ensure we can accurately track water usage while reducing maintenance work.
