This year for National Small Business Week (NSBW) 2023, the Duncanville Economic Development Corporation will be kicking off an Inaugural Small Business Week celebration highlighting locally-owned Duncanville businesses.
For Customers-
To help kick off Small Business Week, there will be rewards associated with participation for customers. To be entered in the raffle to win $500 to your favorite Duncanville small business, you must take a NSBW sticker from a participating business, scan the QR code (which will direct you to your preferred EDC social media page), then you will post a picture of the sticker in front, or inside, and tag the Duncanville EDC as well as your favorite business.
For Businesses-
Businesses who choose to participate will receive NSBW stickers that customers will be able to take and post on their social media and cast their vote by tagging their favorite small business and the Duncanville EDC. Businesses who receive enough votes to place in the Top 10 will receive $1000 and the business with the most votes will receive an additional $500.
To qualify-
To qualify, participating businesses must be locally-owned or, in the case of certain national or regional establishments, locally-operated. Qualifying small businesses must have fewer than 50 total employees and must generate taxable sales. Customers and Businesses may be disqualified at staff discretion.
Winners will be contacted via social media.
